Camp Hope
Every year, Camp Hope gives hundreds of inner-city children the priceless gift of fun and unforgettable memories. Camp Hope offers a spectacular place of refuge for inner-city children. It gives the children of this abandoned generation the opportunity to step out of the concrete jungle where they live and see that the larger world exists not just for others but for themselves as well. Here they are given a chance to participate in things they may have only dreamed about or seen on television.

Crime Stoppers
Winston Salem CRIMESTOPPERS is a unique program that brings together business, law enforcement and ordinary citizens to fight crime and make our community safer. Through CRIMESTOPPERS, local newspapers, radio and television stations publicize unsolved crimes. Citizens who know information are encouraged to call 727-2800. Confidentiality is assured by assigning callers a code number instead of asking for their name. This code number is then used for all dealings with the caller.

Since 1998, Hyundai and its dealers have been committed to supporting the fight against childhood cancer. What began in 1998 as a local initiative supported by New England-area Hyundai dealers to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has evolved into Hyundai Hope on Wheels, an independent 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that is now supported nationwide by Hyundai's 800+ dealers and Hyundai Motor America. Since its inception, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has donated more than $23 million to children's hospitals across the country to help kids fight cancer. Every time a new Hyundai vehicle is sold in the U.S., a donation is made to Hope on Wheels.

Wake Forest University
Wake Forest claims the distinction of being the nation's premier collegiate university. Wake Forest offers the personal attention of a small liberal arts college coupled with the breadth and depth of a large research institution. This duality extends to our faculty ideal of professors who are both teachers and scholars, resulting in meaningful research opportunities for students and classroom experiences with professors who are relevant in their fields. With fewer than 12 students per professor, our students benefit from engagement with outstanding teachers every day, inside and outside the classroom.
